Sorry, but due to persistent bad weather, this year's camp is cancelled.
We'll be back next year, bigger and better.

ABOUT CAMP 2007;

This Camp is an opportunity for you to share in this widely known example of a sustainable community. Come and enjoy a relaxing few days next to Carn Ingli on the edge of the Preseli Mountains, a mile and a half from the West Wales coast.

We are holding practical workshops and demonstrations in skills which our community members are profficient at. These are likely to include green woodworking skills, working horses, wool craft, survival skills, seed saving, herb craft, renewable energy, community living and there will be guided walks.

There will be regular music and circle dance slots as well as evenings around the fire so bring instruments if you play. There will be a market session too: bring your handicrafts to trade. A rustic vegetarian café on site will also sell basic food supplies for your camp cookery.

Arrivals will be on Thursday and you may stay until Tuesday morning. There will be organised activities (workshops and demonstrations) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Camping will take place in three or four circles; each centred round a fire on which shared meals will be cooked. Large pots for this will be provided - please bring personal bowl, cup, fork etc if travelling by car.

Vehicles will not be permitted in the camping area, except for disabled people with camper vans and we would like to discourage unnecessary car trips during the camp. Facilities in the field are simple - a cold tap and earth latrines.

We ask you to be especially careful with litter in keeping with our low impact ethos. We would like people to come by public transport if possible and will meet buses in Newport if prearranged. Children are expected to be the responsibility of their parents/guardians. Some activities and games will, however, be provided.

Sorry, no dogs or amplified music allowed. There is a limit of 100 tickets on sale.
