From Newport to Us
It is a thirty minute, mainly uphill, walk from Newport to Brithdir Mawr.(1.8 miles)
Head out of Newport in the direction of Cardigan.
You'll pass The Golden Lion pub on your left. Take the next
turning on the right, which is signed to Cilgwyn.
At the T-junction turn left and follow this road for about a mile (do not take any forks up the mountain - just stick to this road).
After the road starts going downhill for a fair bit look out for our track and homemade "Brithdir Mawr" sign on the left. You have arrived. If you reach Cilgwyn you've gone just slightly too far. If you have heavy luggage or small children, give us a ring and we may be able to pick you up from Newport.
Finally a quick Welsh lesson .. Newport=Trefdraeth . . .Fishguard=Abergwaun . . .Cardigan=Aberteifi . . Haverfordwest=Hwlffordd . . .Wales=Cymru.
